Since its foundation in 1982, Helarb Management S.A. has charted a remarkable course in private equity, successfully completing some 30 investments in Switzerland, France and Germany. Mohammed
Al-Radwan

Chairman

Mohammad Alradwan has built a long and distinguished career in a variety of sectors.
He began by studying finance at Seattle University, graduating in 1997.
His first job was with Independent Petroleum Group, a global energy trading company listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange, where he worked in marketing and trading for three years, honing his skills in these areas and gaining valuable experience in the complex world of energy markets.

In 2001, he moved to Dubai and worked as a financial analyst at Merrill Lynch.
Later that year, he co-founded a company called United International Petroleum, where he held the position of Managing Director.

In 2003, Mohammad returned to Kuwait to head the family business Ali Al-Radwan & Sons General Trading, a position he has held for over 23 years.
Under his leadership, the company has made significant investments in a diversified portfolio of companies operating in Kuwait, Europe and North America in various sectors such as private equity, oil & gas, real estate, energy and communication networks.

He sits on the board of several joint ventures in Kuwait with global companies such as Siemens AG, Siemens Energy AG and Nokia Network, where he has played a key role in shaping the strategy and success of these ventures in Kuwait.

He has also held other important roles, such as President of Boubyan Local Real Estate Fund from 2014 to 2016, and President of VDT Properties in Switzerland since 2019.
In December 2023, he became President of Helarb Management S.A., where he continues to work in private equity.
Throughout his career, Mohammad has taken on key leadership roles in various fields, helping companies to grow and succeed.

Manuel Moor

Director

Manuel Moor is a qualified Swiss lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in corporate law and mergers & acquisitions (M&A).
He obtained his law degree from the University of Lausanne and was admitted to the Geneva Bar in 2010.

Manuel began his career as a legal trainee at Lenz & Staehelin in Geneva, where he developed his basic legal skills.
After completing his training, he spent eight years at Ernst & Young SA in Geneva, advising clients on a variety of corporate law issues and gaining valuable experience in structuring and negotiating transactions.

In 2018, he joined Python Avocats SA as Senior Associate, where he continued to focus on corporate law and M&A transactions.
Since 2022, he has been a partner at Swiss law firm Altenburger Ltd legal + tax.

In his current role, Manuel advises clients on international and domestic transactions, including private M&A, private equity deals, and corporate restructurings.
He also specializes in drafting corporate and contractual documents, ensuring that his clients’ needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Waleed Al-Hamad

Director

Mr. Waleed M. Al-Hamad joined the Helarb Group in 2006.
Since the change of ownership in 2023, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of Helarb Management SA.

Until 2023, he was Managing Director of Helvetia Arab Holding Co.
K.S.C.

He was also a member of the Board of Directors of the Helarb Group’s Luxembourg holding companies, and was responsible for all the Group’s activities and businesses.

Previously, he worked as a partner in the investment team at Investcorp Bank E.C. and as team leader in the domestic institutional banking division at the National Bank of Kuwait.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from California State Polytechnic University and an Executive MBA in Finance from New York University.

Fabrice Bober

Executive Director Investments

Mr Fabrice Bober joined the Helarb Group in 2010.
As Executive Director of Investments, he is responsible for portfolio management and investment projects, working closely with the Executive Director of Finance and Administration.

Aged 51, a native French speaker, he is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of German.

He began his career at Credit Suisse in 1995, managing a portfolio of one hundred companies, in charge of analysis (financial statements, solvency, business prospects, etc.).
In addition, he was part of the equity research working group (research on a wide range of economic sectors: industry, pharmaceuticals, watchmaking, etc.).

In 2000, he joined a start-up, Lysis S.A., as a financial analyst, responsible for all financial matters and fund-raising.

In 2002, he joined the Kudelski Group as Senior Financial Analyst for Mergers & Acquisitions and Business Development, managing the selection and evaluation of investment opportunities, playing a key role in the due diligence process and the finalization of transactions.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the École Supérieure de Commerce de Lausanne and a Master’s degree from HEC, University of Lausanne.

Maxime Laisné

Executive Director Finance & Administration

Mr. Maxime Laisné joined the Helarb Group in 2013.
As Executive Director of Finance and Administration for the Group, he is responsible for all Group financial matters and works closely with the Executive Director of Investments on portfolio management and all potential acquisitions.
In addition, he is in charge of the Finance and Administration team.

Aged 48, a native French speaker, he is also fluent in English.

He began his career with Deloitte (Paris) in 2001 in the audit field, where he served a wide variety of international commercial and industrial clients for 5 years.
In addition, he has 6 years’ experience in transaction advisory and restructuring services (for private equity firms and strategic buyers) with Deloitte (Paris) and Grant Thornton (Paris).
He has actively contributed to the global organization of Grant Thornton’s London headquarters.

He joined Grant Thornton Switzerland in 2012 as Senior Manager of the Geneva office to develop the transactional services practice in French-speaking Switzerland.

In the course of his M&A experience, he has worked in several sectors (technology, IT, TMT, construction, energy, civil engineering, etc.).
He has carried out and managed several due diligences on both the buyer and seller sides, and has led cross-border assignments, mainly in Europe.

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant in France and holds a Master’s degree in Audit and Consulting from ESCP Europe.

Elodie Boand

Finance Manager

Ms Élodie Boand joined the Helarb Group in 2016.
As Finance Manager, she is responsible for accounting and administrative matters for Helarb structures and for operational companies on demand.
Aged 43, a native French speaker, she is fluent in English.

Before joining Helarb, she worked for three years as an accountant in a construction company.
Prior to this, she spent six years at Merck Serono (2007-2013), a pharmaceutical company, where she played a key role in the expansion of the Vevey site.
Her career began in a fiduciary company, where she worked for four years from 2002 to 2006, during which time she trained as an accountant and obtained her federal diploma in 2005.
